I have a window air conditioner in one of the rooms in my house. I would like to leave it in all winter and only run the fan....not the a/c.....Can I do this or will it cause damage to the air conditioner? Thanks Will.

There should be no problem, unless the fan becomes blocked by ice or snow. If that happens, you could burn out the fan motor.

Like said the blower there on that unit. Turns the inside fan and also the outside fan on the condenser side out side . So if water got in the unit and froze you could burn up the motor .
