Hello,
Well from reading the post from Ed, it appears I have screwed up already.
I am finishing my basement out here near Philly in Pennsylvania and have already pretty much framed the entire basement without a vapor barrier on the cement (poured) walls. I did dri-lock them though.
Everything I was reading in the past said I should insulate, then vapor barrier, then my drywall. Is that OK at this point? Also, should I just an R-12 with the paper facing? The studs are 16" on center.
Thanks for any advice!!
Barry

You are fine. Just turn the vapor retarder toward the heated room. Make sure you got all your permits from the Building Inspector for finishing basement. Everything has to be done to Code and required inspections.

Your ok . The Dylok will do its job . That's a R 13 insulation you want in the studs. Paper to the room. We do put a 4 mil poly over the studs and all on the room side then the drywall. It gives you a good V/B that way over the paper as one big sheet and no leaks.
