Hi,
I have an old blade in my table saw (10") and and a project coming up where I will be ripping lots of 1x red oak. Can anyone give me their opinion on a good blade? I'm not too familiar with ripping hardwood, so any help is appreciated.
Thanks!
Bob

Hi bob, you should use a dedicated rip blade, something like a 24 tooth carbide tiped rip blade, feed the stock slowly and let the saw cut at its own rate. good luck, and take care, Lee
