i bought a second hand dryer a few days ago. It's only a couple of years old, looks new. I set it up, but there was a gas leak. I had the gas company come out and check the hoses, but he said the leak is coming from inside the dryer. What might I do to fix this problem?

Hello: CanIFixIt. Welcome to my Gas Appliances topic and the Do-It-Yourself Web Site.
If the leak is inside, possible it is coming out the orifice because the gas control valve is leaking slightly. Non repairable item. Must replace the entire gas control valve. Not so uncommon of a problem nor specfic to the brand or any brand.
Leak might be on the tiny shut off valve to the right side of the control valve or on the counter clock wise turning coupling nut which connects the 1/2 inch gas pipe to the control valve.
Using a 50 50 mix of soap and water or leak detection soap will help to find leaks but not on the orifice. Usually orifice not able to get at it from the back side of the control. Best bet is to remove the entire gas valve if no leak forund on pipes or connections inside or outside the machine.
Recheck the flex connector fittings and the shut off valve on the gas supply pipe too. Likely a poor connection on shut off valve or on inlet pipe in the back of dryer, regardless of what the gas tech claims. Could have missed one.
If dryer purchased used from used appliance dealer, contact them or return appliance for repairs. private party sale, try all the above.
