I have a KDI-21 dishwasher and purchased replacement plastic door bearings (the old ones disintegrated),which appear to be designed to slip into a slot in the cabinet and through which the door stop arm passes. I have not been able to figure out how to install them. With the arm in place there is not room to slip the plastic moldings into place.
I e-mailed the manufacturer's Customer Service several days ago and still await an answer. I don't mind doing whatever work is needed to install the bearings because the door opens too far without them, and the rack rolls forward, but I don't want to just guess and end up with a lot more parts disassembled than necessary.
Last year you guys were a big help in giving me confidence to buy a new dryer motor---so I'm back!

Hello: Magison
Likely to get the instructions from the dealer from whom you purchased the replacement parts from. Unless purchased online. If not purchased online, return to the store where the parts where purchased and inquire. Often times parts dealers are will and able to help with repair help, advice and pictures. Doing so is in their best interests to keep customers satisfied and make them repeat customers.
Check back on your question several more times. Other members posting replies in this forum topic may offer you additional advice, ideas and or repair methods.

I finally realized this morning tha the bearings had nothing to do withmy major problem, that the stop bracket has worn a groove in the frame and doesn't stop the door. the bearings have nothing to do with that, and I inserted them from the front rather than from the back of the frame and they go in with more ease.
No my problem is to fudge a solution to the main problem without tearing the whole machine apart.
Thanks for your help.
