Hi...I bought a Frigidaire Range a few years ago and the digital clock/oven timer does not work at all(blank screen) and consequently the oven won't work either....the heating elements on top work just fine...we think this may have happened during a storm last month when we lost power but we cant be sure because it took a while for us to try and use our oven again to even notice it. It's not under warranty and we are too tight on money to pay someone. Is this something we might fix or would it be safer to save up money and get it fixed? Thanks!

Most likely the transformer on the clock/computer is blown so you will need a new clock. You might try unplugging the range for five minutes then plugging it back in. This would reset the clock if its still functioning. If it doesn't come back on then it will need to be replaced. Doug
