I bought Tool Shop compressor at Menard's and put in the oil. I have since used it twice kicking the compressor in about 5 times before the thing burned up. Has anyone else had a Tool Shop compressor and what are your thoughts?

ironman2,
Even if Tool Shop is an inexpensive import, you should get a reasonable length of service if it did have oil, and was used only occasionally.
I returned my $99.00 oil type off shore compressor when it came DOA and have been happy with its replacement.
Keep in mind that I only run it for a few minutes at a time, which is all they are really designed for.

I have a buddy who's a manager of a Menard's and he will not buy Tool Shop because he thinks they're junk. I've bought a few of their hand tools and was pleased with the quality for what they cost. The nice thing about Menard's is that they'll take it back. Return this one and if its replacement burns up, return it and buy a different brand.
