Installing a chimney liner for wood burning insert. Flue tiles inside diameter is 8"X6", liner is 6". Flue tiles are so misaligned in spots that the effective flue width is down to 5". Its pretty tough to "ovalize" the pipe to fit this width, but I've toyed with it enough to believe I could do it if need be. Anyone have any better ideas?

remove the clay tiles or ovalize the pipe
