We have got a Kenmore Ultra Wash dishwasher. The model number is 117779990.
One of the kids pressed the keypad lock button and the diswasher is now locked unresponsive any of the kes. When I got home my wife had actually cut the power main at the circut breaker box in an attempt to get the dishwasher to reset itself.
The instructions on the dishwasher tell you to press the No Heat Dry Key for 4 seconds to unlock the keypad. This does not work.
When you press the button you get a few quick flashes. It is then steady for a few moments and then quick flashes again. If you continue to hold the button you get quick flashes again and then steady then it will flash slower than the quick flashing.
At this point it keeps doing this pattern and never unlocks the key pad.
I'm trying to figure out how to get this thing reset back to factory defaults if there is such a thing.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
Try to hold in some other keys near the No Heat Dry button. 1 at a time for 4 secs.
Other than that, it would be a bad keypad console, and it would need to be replaced.
Check your warranty, if its under 5 yrs. old that that part maybe under warranty. :)
You would just have to pay labor.
