Hi,
My Kenore dryer model is 110.96581100 (lower front panel). It runs, heats, but the clothes wont dry. So, I checked the exhaust pipe (flexible, ribbed plastic pipe), and it was just full of lint and water. I thought I found the source problem..I cleaneed th water up, but its actually happening again, and after drying 2-3 loads, I got another bucket of water in the exhaust.
Please help!!!

Hi,
The water is getting in from where the exhaust vents outside.
You will need to check the outside vent duct and repair it from their. :)

I have a similar dryer and the same problem. The issue is not what Jake of 11 years posts. The problem with mine is that the lint trap in the front does not trap the lint completely and it is getting into the fan motor and on into the exhaust vent. The exhaust vent fills with lint and starts holding water.
Do this. Pull out the lint trap and look down in the cavity. It should not be full of lint. If it is, pull off the low front panel. If it is like mine, there are two screws holding on the vent between the dryer and fan motor. Mine was full of lint! All this has to be cleaned or you will loose a motor and continue to clog your dryer vent.
While you are in there vacuum out all the lint from the underside. If you don't, and you have a gas dryer, it will build up and a fire will flash the area and char all the lint and stink up your dryer real good. It has happened with mine and it stinks real bad!
The lint trap does not seal at the bottom of the trap. There is about 1/8 inch gap at the bottom where the lint easily gets thru. I am still messing around trying to stop this problem. I gave up trying to get Sears to acknowledge it.
Next time I am buying an Amana.
