its a 7 year old kenmore, the coupler was just replaced a month ago, and now when in the spin cycle i get a loud CLICKING noise and during the clicking noise the lights in my laundry room flicker in sequence with the click, the tub is spining but seems like its trying a little more than usual, like its trying to draw some power, and now i get a electric burning smell., obviously i have stopped using it untill the problem is fixed. plz help

Hi,
I have run into many of these washers with the problem.

Its the timer thats shorting out the motor. I always replace the timer and motor and it fixes the problem, but unless you have a extended warranty it would cost over $300.00
