After waiting several weeks for delivery of a new Bosch Next series washer and dryer finally to happen this weekend, I discovered yesterday that the doorway to my laudry room is, quite literally, 1/16" narrower than the units (okay, stop chuckling). Now, I do not know how accurate the published measurements are, but before I cancel delivery or take other drastic measures (and, no, the door jambs cannot be removed easily as they are welded on), does anyone know how easily the top can be removed from these machines? I think that eliminating the edge overlay from of the plastic control panel will more than afford me the added room I need.

Sorry,
I have no training on Bosch appliances.
Only Maytag, Frigidaire, Whirlpool, Kenmore, Kitchen Aid, Amana, Admiral, Magic Chef, GE.

Bosch is foreign made, they havent trained us on it yet.
