OK.....my front overhang fron porch on my 18 year old colonial has 4 "square" columns that are basically boxed in 4 x 4's with finish pine and now the wife wants the nice round column look. Is there anybody that sells split round types that I can add "around" the existing 4 x 4 or do I have to completetly remove the 4 x 4 post and install those nice 1 piece jobs? Sounds like too much effort just for a "look"....structually the existing post are fine!
