I am digging the foundation for my 28' deep 40' wide 3 bay garage and hit ledge in both corners. I rented a John Deere 310E, does anyone know if they rent a hydro ram or something that will help break up about a 6 foot area of ledge?

Depends entirely upon what type rock 'ledge' you struck whether any type of
'chipper' attachment can handle it.
If the ledge is granite, forget it...
You might do better considering how you can leave the ledge intact and simply step the footer/foundation.
After all, bedrock is usually the best base for a foundation.

I rented a breaker and spent all afternoon breaking rocks. It's working great but unfortunately it's pouring here today :(

Too bad.
Since breaking the rocks may have been completely unnecessary....

Huh? What do you mean it may have been completely uneccessary? How else would I get rid of it without dynamite? I think you are thinkinh I am building on a flat grade. That's not the case here so unless I want to take an elevator to my garage lol I need to dig down.

Did you even read my initial post?
Rock (bedrock) is the best base for any foundation or footer and under the proper circumstances you do not need to remove any of it, just build step-footers to accomodate it.
Therefore removing rock can become completely unnecessary in many situations with exposed ledges.
But you did not explain in any detail just how deep you were going and what you were trying to do.
So if you want to provide details, please do.

The ledge protrudes into the garage area. I need to remove it to be able to get to the grade I need, and to be able to have a floor. I rented a breaker for a backhoe and it's coming out. If this rain would quit making a sespool of my yard I'd be ahead of the game.
