Hi all, having a problem with the pump leaking on my GE washing machine. The water is coming from a small hole on the side of the pump, which looks to be in made into the side of the pump. My question is is this hole supposed to be there? Is it some kind of pressure relief thing? And if it is, does that mean something is clogged causing it to build up to much pressure? Thanks in advance :)

Hi,
That hole is built in the pump, I have seen it leak from there as well.
The pump has gone out. You would need a new pump.
