i have a 52 inch projection rca tv that the convergence pots have been adjusted it needs adjusting i tryed blind for 2 hours any basics or tips or tricks

do i turn all pins dials or pots counter clockwise an start there.also am i trying to get the second broken verticle line at the edge ?

Most service people would not even touch the "pots" without at least a cross-hatch generator. What is the Model of your TV? Some RCA's have built in generators that can be accessed in the service mode.
The worst thing you could do at this time is to adjust the controls from what you call "start".
What caused you to adjust in the first place. Maybe you have bad convergence IC's.

it does have the cross hatch i think .i replaced hv mod then the convergence was off removed the front pannel abd some one had messed around with them i bought it broken so i got what i paid for any help will be appriated

i keep messing with it it is getting better is there any tricks or shortcuts ?
