I am thinking about redecorating our bedroom however I am stumped with colors to use. I have a large room...4 windows and a carpet that is Emerald green. I would like a warm relaxing comfortable look. Any Ideas for wall and fabric colors would be greatly appreciated!

when it comes to decorating, you can have an "idea" of what you'd like to do, but ultimately, what you end up having will be determined by what's available and/or affordable! even if you have bedding custom made, you're limited by selection & budget. so, to just say "give me some ideas for colors & fabrics" is impossible to answer.
however, the process will be made easier because your choices are limited by the green carpet (what's "emerald"? like hunter green but brighter?), so i'd suggest you just start with cutting a clipping of the carpet (from a corner or closet) and take it with you when you go shopping for bedding. then, based on what you find for bedding, select coordinating drapery. then when you've picked out all that, choose a wall color.
what kind of style are you wanting? island retreat with palm leaves & lots of wicker accessories? cottagy florals & plaids? formal & tailored? you'll know it when you see it. just start shopping! (or surfing! you can cover a lot of ground by going on line!)
after that, if you have specific questions, post them! i'll help you when you get it narrowed down a bit!

KathieM,
I had that color years back in my living room. I put red with it like a plaid with the green in it. I could see a royal color with a royal color to make it warm and relaxing. Add a little yellow in throw pillows.
Just my opinion.
