Check for voltage at the timer's motor(120 volts), You could have a broken wire in the door or a bad connection somewhere. Doug

I have a ge dishwasher that is 6 years old. It won't empty all the water when finished. And it won't completely dry the dishes either. I have recently replaced the pump due to leaking and it has worked fine. I have checked the drain line and the new pump.. they are clean with no restrictions. I have done the diagnostics which steps through the cycle and it works fine with no error codes. The auxiliary pump pumps water out when it is supposed to, but it does not completely empty the bottom. The heater element works....it gets hot and dries half of the dishes. Is it possible that it does not dry because there is still too much water left in the unit? How do I tell if the aux. pump is possibly going bad? Or that the timer is turning it off too early? Or that the heater is not staying on long enough? Or should I go buy a new one?
