We recently bought a house, and the garge doors are un-insulated (just thin metal).

I have heard of inserts that you can buy to put in them, made out of foam or something, to easily add insulation to them.

Has anyone every heard of these things, or know where to get them? I've tried a few places around town and no one seems to even know what I am talking about.

Do it the easy way... buy 1" celotex, cut it to the size of the panels and liquid nail it to the door.

Thanks hellrazor, I'll check that out. Now to just find a place that sells celotex.

Lowes, Home Depot, anyplace that carries construction materials will have celotex insulation. It comes in 4x8 sheets in various thicknesses.

Buy a pack of new utility knife blades and change as soon as the cut strarts to look jagged. Or get some of those cheap break away blade box cutters.
