I own a GE gas stovetop that uses propane gas. Even on the very lowest knob setting the flame is too large for slow cooking or simmering items. I would like to know if it is possible for me to adjust the flow rate of the valve in order to lower the flame? Thank you

Hello: Edin
You can adjust the orifices, if there is already an LP appliance regulator installed on the stove tops intake manifold, but not the supply valve.
Orifices are the brass or bronze hex nuts, on the back end of the burner tubes. Turning orifices clockwise closes them down. Most stove tops have orifices that can be adjusted but not all have that type of orifice.
