Well a while ago the tv started to cut off to a blue screen,not the kind that u get when u go to a vcr channel but a big blue patch in the middle,then one day it just wont turn on.The standby light goes from red to red+orange blinking and i hear a high pitched sound coming from a transformer,well thats where i thinks its from.
Its not the fuse because i opened up and used the fuse from another old sanyo tv(4A,250v).

Any other ideas???

transformer looks like the third one up from the bottom in the first row.
