i was in the process of replacing my master tub when the "x" in the drain that you attach the drain removal wrench to, broke completely off. Can anyone tell me how to remove that drain so I can remove the tub?

I would try a SHARP chisel and try to tap on the inside edge of the drain counterclockwise. You just want to catch the edge of the chisel into the drain. Good luck and post back.

Thanks for the advise, i actually decided not to save the tub so i drilled a hole on the outer ring and hammered with a chisel. It took a while, but worked great. I appreciate the help.
