I have a Kenmore Extra Capacity Ultra Care Clothes Washer (Whirlpool Model #4685290). The tub fills beyond set level and overflows if left. I would like to know how to diagnose the problem. Thanks in advance.

I found the answer to my problem. The small tube that connects to the water level switch on the control panel had slipped off. I reconnected and problem is now solved. I found some helpfull information from the following web site:
