i try to adjust the defrosted timer becouse it was freezeing up but it wasnt defrosted timer it was theromstate so i replaced it but now im trying to get the defrosted timer back to where it is suposed to be any sugest would be help full thanks

Doubt there is any need to adjust the defrost timer. Most defrost more than once per day anyway. And should there be an electrical outage, the timer changes the defrost time anyway and there is no need then to reset it.
If all is working correctly now that the part needed was replaced, I suggest leaving well enough alone.
