I have plaster walls. I want to remove the paint in this one area. I saw a long time ago a paint remover that was applied to the wall then a paper or film was applied over it, after a period of time the paper was removed taking most of the paint with it. Is this product still made and where would I find It. The area to be remover is a celing and one wall on a stair case.

That would be "Peel Away" paint stripper I believe. Havent used it but read a lengthy thread at the www.PaintersChatRoom.com . Its about 5 pages back of current. Has to be neutralized for exterior anyway and sounds like it would be troublesome.
