I don't know anything about these so where are good places to look for countertops and what kind are available and reasonably priced.I did price corian and for what I have measured it was $3400 which is a lot more than I am willing to spend.Thanks for any info.

I don't think you meant to say $3400 but you can go to the big box stores and look at what is available. Your question seems to be better answered by yourself than us as you have a budget to work within.
Issues that you should be addressing would be, is this going to be for resale value, for your use "long term", want something durable, etc?
These should be addressed first but if the budget dictates you can't afford a more durable and lasting countertop, then options are limited like plastic laminate - Formica or Wilsonart brand. If you can do ceramic tile yourself, do that. Bear in mind that the selection of sinks to the type of countertop should also be considered in your final choices.

Yes the quote was $3400 and this is with 2 sinks molded in to the countertop.

Not knowing what size, this is ALOT of money! What are we talking about for size and where is this at? Seems like highway robbery.
