I am new to this forum and I don't know if this question has been addressed before. Is it harmful to use TC-W3 (outboard oil) in small air cooled engines? If so, why?

I have used 2 cycle marine oil in my snow blower, string trimmer, and chain saw for years without a problem. Since you brought it up, I checked out a major oil company's web site. They give their blessing on using the marine oil in small air cooled engines such as those I mentioned, and also on 2 cycle lawnmowers.
