What are some installation tips for installing 3/4 X 3.25 tongue & groove flooring as stair treads and risers?

The wood is Brazilian Koa which is approximately 25% harder than red oak and 15% more stable than red oak.

Using treads and risers on stairs will give you a more professional look. Using flooring on stairs will require cutting short boards and the use of stairnosing on each tread.
