I have a 50+ redwood tree in my front yard. The electric company has trimmed it so much it looks funny on one side. It blocks the entrance to my side yard and it is messy on windy days. I want to remove it. Redwood is expensive. Would a company remove it for the wood itself? Any suggestions?

Yes some wood is worth money if it is large enough, & long enough. It's all about how many sellable board feet the log has. Also it depends on how many logs you have for harvest right now. Let me explain.

I know from experience, & what I thought was a perfect black Walnut Tree that #1 it costs us to drop it. #2 it must be sawn, & dried + all that cost us money before we even sell it. Now if you had 50 to 100 large Logs we sure would be paying you but you only have 1 tree.

We can cut, & haul it for you, or you can pay someone else to cut, & haul it away for you. I got the picture & also the last laugh, the whole center of the tree was rotten LOL. They made a deal to cut and haul it away :)

You might run an ad in the paper and see if you get any takers.
