i have a 60hp evinrude vro.the engine just stopped running while idling at my dock. it would not restart so i took the boat out to check the engine out it has strong spark has fuel , compression is 110psi, but it still wont start once in a while it will start runs for 15 seconds and then shuts right off just as if you turned the ignition off.

It sounds like a problem with the fuel supply. I would check all the fuel lines to make sure there isn't a blockage somewhere, then I would check the fuel injection or carb, whichever applies.

What year is motor,and when u say has fuel r u talkin in the tank r in lines??

the motor is a 89,the engine is gettin fuel it has good fuel pressure.
