Lighting, Light Fixtures, Ceiling and Exhaust Fans - Need Help with Lamp Dimmer Switch Installation!

I recently had a switch failure in my Banker lamp.So like the Do-it-yourselfer that I am....I promptly removed the old switch and headed to the local hardware store to buy another only to find that I had to get this part online.

SO.....1 week later I have the switch,but for the life of me cannot figure out how it was wired.

The Dimmer Switch has 2 BLACK wires coming from it.The lamp has 2 WHITE wires leading to the fixture and 2 BLACK wires coming from the outlet.

I can remember only having 2 wing nuts to wire the entire assembly together.....Can someone Pleeeaaaseee either tell me how to install this switch or give me a link to a wiring diagram related to Lamp Dimmer switches?
