I am putting a new toilet in my basement. I have to pump the waste up to the main line about 7 ft. I got a system that will do it. My prblem is do I hook the sink drain to the out flow pipe or the vent pipe? Where should I put the back flow valve? Thanks

I'm not sure what type of system you have in your basement, but in mine the sink & shower drain into the sump. Nothing feeds into the vent line, it just vents the sump. My outflow pipe is pressurized by the ejector pump so you really would not want your sink tied into that.
