I have an outdoor motion light on the corner of the carport facing the front/side of the house. I would like to add an addtional light to the adjacent corner on the back of the carport to face the backyard. I would like to operate this new light with the same switch that powers the existing light. The existing light is attached to the soffit. As far as wiring goes, is there an easy way to do this? Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks!

Many motion lights restrict you to one light on a switch. So read the manufacturer's information carefully. If allowed, it's trivial. Just run a cable from the old light to the new light.
