i need any advice at all on how to prune junipers that have gotten 4-5' tall and probably 10-15' wide. can i cut complete limbs out to thin them out? ive already taken all the dead out .the owner really wants them cut back and i have been putting it off because i dont want to harm them. do it just trim each limbs needles back on each side as much as possible to the stump? i have yews of my own and i do trim them ,but i have never trimmed any of these . help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
