I've seen several smaller spray rigs advertised recently - I think it's called the spray boss - even SherwinWilliams advertises them along with the big boxes. I know you get what you pay for but hauling around a heavy spray rig and a 5 gallon bucket of paint is tough. The spray boss holds two gallons of paint. Does anyone have any experience with one of these. Will it spray oil-based paint?

Is it the 2 gal hopper style airless? If so sounds the same as wagners' Paint Crew (piston pump airless). They will spray latex and oil base effortlessly. However you may not enjoy the buzz you get from all the fumes (of the oil base). I would use semigloss latex instead for the trim, etc. Incidentally they run $180 and are the least expensive sprayer that will work (as opposed to the hand-helds).
