The problem started today. The TV suddenly displayed a white screen with wavy lines, then began to cut off after a few seconds of operation.

Now when we turn it on, it runs for around 5 seconds with the white screen and lines showing, then shuts itself off.

The tv is a 4 year-old Phillips Magnavox Model TS3260CI.

Any ideas out there?
