I've got a B&S mower and the pull cord got entangled in the spring. I have spent quite a bit of time trying to get the spring re-wound, with little success.
I know there is no "easy" way to do this, but does anybody have an idea of an "easier" way to rewind this spring so as to fit in its housing?

Hello Shane!
No easy way, lol. You need strong fingers and patience to get it rewound enough to fit. A replacement spring is cheap, and comes pre-wound. You put it in and let it loose. If you can't get yours in, that might be the way to go.
