I would like to replace the existing flooring in the entryway, living room, dining room and kitchen with one solution so that the same flooring flows thru these 4 areas. We have 2 large hyper dogs and 3 teenage boys. When we visit flooring stores we get conflicting information.
Our concerns are: water, scratching and resell.

i installed laminate in my family room, it gets alot of traffic from house to garage. i have two sons ages 7 and 4 who are very active with riding toys. the flooring is holding up very good from these conditions. it was rather easy to install too. it's going on 2 years since we installed it and i am glad i went with it.

All these products would work, but I think tile would work best for ALL your issues.
keep in mind that tile is hard and cold.
Hardwood for my second choice.
Laminate isn't bad either but it runs 3rd.
