I have Pergo laminate read to lay down. But I have a problem
with where to start. I have four bedrooms with a connecting
hallway that I want to re-floor. The instructions say to start
at the top left corner and assemble down and across to the
right. If I do this for two of the rooms, hoping to align at the
hallway, I have a good chance of not being aligned at the
hallway. What is the right approach? I have thought about
starting in the middle of the hallway and sort of branch out
from there into the rooms. I am not sure I can go in both directions
with the laminate. Please advise.

Also, forgot to mention that the layout of the rooms and hallway
is like an H, with a room at each corner of the H.

And for that very reason, most all laminate manufacturers suggest a "T" molding at all the doorways.

Start in the corner room. work your way into the and across the hallway, and then off into the rooms across the hallway. To install click backwards is a chore.

I am thinking about putting down laminate flooring in my den and hallway. The den is 18'5" x 15'5" and leads to a hallway that's 17'4"x3'. The hallway is offset by about one foot (running off the longer wall). What would be the best to transition from the den to the hallway?
