Hello

I have inhereted a sharp tv built in sept 2002 modle number CMR 10019
120 volts ac 60 hz 69 watts, and it has a red cast to the picture.

looks like scenes were shot through a red filter. other than that it is in perfect order.

is it somthing I could work on? or is it worth fixing?

It should be an easy fix. The red screen voltage needs to be adjusted. This may be accomplished by either a potentiometer adjust or a service menu adjust. Since I do not have any technical info on this model, I can't say for sure which it would be but your local TV repair shop can probably adjust it very quickly and inexpensively.
