have a rca 5 disc cd/mp3 stereo that will not open or change cds. what can I do to get it to work?

Sounds like a bad motor of some sort. Possibly a bad connection, but unlikely.

Use a large flat-head screwdriver and a credit card (to buy a new one.)

well, I open it up and got the cds out of it and got it to open and close, with the open/close button, but then it wont open again.
