Toilets, Sinks, Showers, Tubs and Disposals - Which whirlpool bathtub?

I am in the market for an alcove style whirlpool tub. I have it narrowed to 2 brands. I'm trying to decide between American Standard and Kohler. Looking for an acrylic tub. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated

I am answering this post because most the professionals here do not want to make a decision for you. This is a personal preference thing and while some people have a Brand preference it still comes down to what you want it to do and the style you like.Check out all the pro's and con's of each unit and then make a decision on what is best for you. You have narrowed it down to 2 quality companies.Look at the warranties and access to parts, should you need to repair it later. Good luck.

I think both brands are nice; I am partial to Jacuzzi brand models because I know from the other brands how nightmarish they can be down the road for parts and product reliability.



Tough for customers when numerous plumbers walk through the door and chant "Can't touch this" when they see the tub.



Opt for additional warranties from the manufacturer if available on the working compnents of the tub.
