I had a friend help with some minor plumbing projects including replacing the drain pipes under the kitchen sink (form the sink to the wall).
We used the white plastic pipes with plastic connections. All seems well, excepte one connection continues to leak. I have tried re-connecting it multiple times with no luck. The plastic gasket seems to be in the right direction, and it is as tight as I can get it by hand. Is there a trick I am missing? Need to use teflon tape? Need to have connecting pipes perfectly straight?

If one of the sections isn't straight, that could be the cause for the leak.
You can either loosen all of the slip nuts and adjust it, or just smear a little clear silicone caulk on the washer and threads of the slip nut that is leaking.
Good Luck!
