I am planning on adding another light fixture to a light fixture. How do I connect the wires? This is controlled by an on-off switch. Thanks.

Piece of cake. Run a black/white/bare cable from the existing light to the new light. At the existing light, connect the black and white to exactly whatever wires the existing light's black and white wires are connected to. Don't overanalyze it or change anything. Changing any existing connections will only screw it up. At the new light, connect black and white from the cable to black and white from the new light. Connect the bare wire at each end to the other grounding wires in the box.
