We are in the process of replacing our fill valve. Our only problem is that we cant get the nut connecting it to the tank on the bottom to come off. Any suggestions? Thanks Amy

You have to hold the fill valve inside the tank from turning, turn the nut in a counter-clockwise direction (looking at it from under the tank). If it is stripped and will not come off.......use a sharp knife and cut it, it us just plastic, right?
