Can I get some help on this.

Im trying to install a ceiling fan switch and a dimmer switch for the light on the fan in my master bedroom. I have all the wires out right now and there are four main cables. Two have four wires (red, black, white, copper) and two have three wires (black, white, and copper). Each new switch has three wires. One for the light or fan, one for main coming in, and a green for ground. Now, how do they all hook together?

Thanks for any help in advance.

Did you just describe the wires in the switch box or in the ceiling box? Whichever, describe the other box. Then give us some history of what was there before you started. And how many switches are we talking about exactly? And what kind of switches?

This is the dual on/off switch on the wall. Im installing a dimmer switch for the light and a four speed switch for the fan.
