Hi, My daughter bought a condo with a broken Napco Magnum Alert 700. What could I replace it with that will fit in the 8.5" wide x 4.5" high x 3" deep wall opening and use the existing 4 zone contacts and bell? The keypad and board seem to be one unit. I need something that programs thru the keypad.
Thanks!
Rick

Are you certain that the wiring was home run to this location? I've run into a lot of instances where the wires for this type of all in one unit were re-directed from another location? Where, for instance, was the power supply and back up battery located?
If you have a nearby closet where there is an unexplained blank cover plate, you might find that your home was prewired for a standard alarm panel, and modified for the napco install.
Basically, this type of all in one system has become all but extinct. There are a few possible configurations that might work for this instance, but most of them are kind of kludgy solutions.
