I have a Delta faucet similar to this model (may even be this model)

http://www.deltafaucet.com/servlet/OnlineCatalog?type=Kitchen&finish=&handles=2&minPrice=&maxPrice=&new_product=&offset=9&page=final&model=2476-LHP+H22+A22WH

When I use the sprayer now, 1/2 the water still comes out of the faucet, and some out of the sprayer, instead of it all coming out of the sprayer.

About the same time this started, I also noticed a whistling type noise whenever I turn the faucets on, even when I'm not using the sprayer.

What needs to be repaired??

I appreciate the help

Hmmmm...not sure but try tightning up the connections on the sprayer and faucet under the sink. Sounds like you may be sucking air into the waterlines and when you use the sprayer it is worse. Good luck and post back.

The whistling noise normally indicates an obstruction in the lines or faucett. I suspect some debris is in the faucett interferring with the sprayer diverter function.

Go back to the site you provided and go to "maintenance and installation sheet" button. On the third page there is a breakdown of you faucet. I would suspect the diverter valve (Part number: RP6073) to be defective or dirty. You maybe able to just take it apart and clean the valve to correct your problem. Easy fix! :D

Thanks everyone, I will try these suggestions. I haven't been able to access the site for a few days--finally figured out it was a Netscape problem, not a site problem. I'll report back later and let you know if it worked
