This is my 2nd time with this question--am I not posting right????
"SafeWatch" you seem to be the Simon authority in the forum? Help please
I have just installed a Simon 3 monitored unit. It is X-10 compatable (per info from previous thread). I would like to have another wireless siren (2 story house). I tried a X-10 Powerhouse but learned it is not compatable with Simon 3, only a 2. Is there a unit that will work? The "chime" feature would be nice too.
Thanks-this forum has been great for the info about alarm systems. Wish I had seen it first, but would have still probably gotten the Simon.

The part number that ITI lists as the correct x-10 horn for a Simon 3 is:
X10 Powerhorn/Remote Siren Module (13-398)

This is right out of the Simon install manual. You do have to have the proper transformer [Class II 9 VAC, 700 mA Line Carrier Power Transformer (22-129)]
for any X-10 to work.

Thank you for the response, I will try that one. My manual is from Protect America and I have no additional listings for acessories.

ITI also has a Supervised Wireless Interior Siren - which is a little better than the X-10's, for one thing it comes with a backup battery - but you will still need the X-10 compatible system and transformer for it to work.

The ITI part # on the X-10 transformer is 60-913.

Good luck!
