Seeking advise on purchasing a table saw. I would like to purchase a table saw and learn to do some wood working projects. Just for the hobby and not for a living. I have found several at Sears, Lowes and Home Depot. I am looking at a price range of around 75.00 to 125.00. The brands I have seen are Delta, Craftsman, Tradesman and Champion. Does anyone have any suggestion about these brands. Thanks in advance for any replies or suggestions.

wld_drvr,
My personal brand preference is Delta, mainly because of how good the local service and parts availability are.
I would just take the time to compare specs and how the saw is built.
Your price range will most likely put you in the range of a bench top saw.
In spite of your budget you may want to consider an inexpensive contractor style saw that would have a larger table.
Larger saws have the ability to rip a sheet of plywood which you may have occasion to do.
